Mumpsy (Jeff Ilgenfritz) is an Orlando singer/songwriter who writes good jangly pop. He’s a fun live act, and his first record “The Exuberance Of Peachtree” is available on www.post-records.com. We highly recommend this one, c’mon…. there’s even an acapella Misfits cover!!
This show was recorded at Stardust Coffee in Winter Park, Florida on 4/12/06

Notable noise is a very quick-and-dirty listing of a bunch of things, normally what local musicians are up to. The column is penned by Jason Ferguson, and although we were not informed we would be appearing in the paper, I am OVERJOYED at the mention! I was wondering why the newest show had more listeners than the oldest show. Now I know.
Check out the mention:
Taken from Notable Noise on 4/20:
Marc With a C is co-hosting a super-hilarious (if completely dorky) podcast called “The Zanzibar Lounge.” You can get it at zanzibar.liberatr.net. Liberatr is also serving up live shows at live.liberatr.net; the first is a Marc With a C show, but the likes of Unicornicopia and Bucket of Nails are also supposed to be on the schedule

Bucket of Nails Live at Austin
October 25th, 2005
There’s very little we can tell you about Bucket Of Nails that will prepare you for what you’ll hear in this show. Two brothers that aren’t old enough to buy alcohol bashing away on their beat up instruments? That’s true. It’s also true that this may be some of the most unbearable noise you’ve ever been privy to. You can’t be blamed for not ‘getting’ what the Bucket does, but you can only blame yourself for not giving the most original and devastating acts in the southeast a chance. Besides… as noisy as they are, you can’t ignore that the audience is yelling as loud as the band is playing in approval.
Bucket Of Nails is Michael and Patrick Bell. This show was recorded at Austins Coffee & Film in Winter Park, FL. It’s quite possibly one of the most punk rock things you are ever going to hear. Take that, Fall Out Boy!

Unicornicopia Live at DMAC
August 2004
It’s safe to say you’ve never heard anything like Unicornicopia. Led by the instrument-hopping Natalie Weiss, this act spent the earlier part of the decade confounding/winning over audiences all over Florida.
Weiss has since relocated to New York to work on a new incarnation of Unicornicopia. This show, recorded in the fall of 2004 at DMAC, is one of the few preserved documents of one of the most original and entertaining acts Orlando has ever seen. Oom-paw-paw indeed!
