“What is this Liberatr.net thing?”
Liberatr is dedicated to broadcasting the voices and faces of anyone who has something to say, and letting the people decide what they want. We are developing a network of offerings that will appeal to people of distinct tastes as well as those who prefer to sample media buffet style. Liberatr shows are produced by Ryan Price, an entrepreneur and web developer with a background in digital media and music.
“What the heck is a podcast?”
Liberatr produces several podcasts, which means they plan on posting regular updates in the form of audio or video files. No iPod or portable MP3 player of any kind is required to enjoy our podcasts. All of our shows are simple mp3 or quicktime files, which can be played in every popular media player. All of our podcast sites also include players to stream the episodes right from the page. There also exists a great enabling technology for podcasts called RSS, or Really Simple Syndication. RSS feeds allow you the listener to be notified every time we release a new show, and to automatically download the file if you use iTunes, a podcatcher like Miro, or a media browser like Songbird. “Orlando sucks. I’m looking for something cool to do.”
We have been working hard to remedy the “Orlando sucks” situation, but for now, we are just trying to connect you with some of the stuff in Orlando that doesn’t suck. Please check out OrlandoScene.TV, our Internet TV show covering some arts, culture, dining, travel destinations and live events in and around Central Florida. Orlando Scene is an open-authored show, so anyone can submit a video.
“But I want some more music AND pop culture! Do you have any of that?”
Since you asked so nice, we have put together a few episodes for a new show called Pop Means Cuddle with Marc from RetroLowFi and Ryan.

Liberatr is about providing freedom to share, communicate, create and connect. We are dedicated to educating people about podcasting and enabling them to create their own podcasts. We have helped several bloggers and podcasters set up and manage their channels and communities online. We’ve been doing this for two years, so we can help you or your business some headaches by pointing you in the right direction.
