Four Eyed Monsters: Enzian, Wed Feb 14

Start a little romance but rule out conversation. Communicate only through videos, art, emails, written notes. Then share the experience with the world in a narrative film and video podcasts under the banner of “Four Eyed Monsters.”

I think this is taken from the Apple site.

This indie-film/podcasting/internet phenomenon is coming to our fair city, and I intend to let people know about it! I posted it to my Upcoming.org, as that is how I’m letting people know about events lately.

Arin Crumley and Susan Buice created this film and they’re taking it all over the country. They have three screenings in Florida on this day, so I don’t know if they’re actually going to be here, but come and see the film anyway. Also, right now I don’t know when the screening is. Their blog didn’t list a time. Still, it looks like most Enzian screenings are happening at 6:30 and 9:45, but call ahead and ask them yourself. (407) 629-1088

Do you have a Four Eyed Monsters story?

Here’s a podcast with the filmmakers.

Bing Futch: You Know It’s Friday The 13th When…

Bing Futch presents video from J.O.B. Entertainment, including mountain dulcimer lessons, short films, music videos and stuff from the archives. I am maker of music, a shooter of video and a writer of words. When the three of them combine, it makes for happy times!

I first heard about Bing Futch through his All Florida Indies music podcast — he’s one of the only people I know of locally who’s been podcasting longer than me. He also now has a video podcast about playing the dulcimer. Bing sent in this video to me and told me it got some decent traffic on YouTube.

I’ve never met the guy, but I have to say I am impressed by his wide range of creative endeavors. One might ask “What does this guy do for a living?” I think it is more of the same. His website leads me to believe that J.O.B. Entertainment is Bing Futch’s bread and butter. If you’re out there man, let’s get together sometime.

If you want your videos to appear here on OrlandoVideo, just send an email to liberatr [at] gmail DOT com with a link to your YouTube, MySpace, Revver, etc — whatever video page you use, so I can post the video here.
